Larger or simpler parts may be better suited to our sand casting line, and lightweight components to aluminum casting; our engineers will recommend the most economical route for your part.

Depending on geometry, our processes achieve ISO 8062 CT4–CT6 tolerance classes. Controlled ceramic shell structure delivers surface finishes generally in the Ra 3.2–6.3 μm range.

Manufacture of the metal injection die used to produce the wax pattern.
Wax is injected into the die to create an exact pattern of the part.
The wax pattern is coated with layers of ceramic slurry and refractory sand.
The ceramic shell is dried under controlled conditions to gain strength.
Wax is melted out of the ceramic shell in the autoclave.
Molten metal is poured into the prepared shell under controlled conditions.
After solidification, the ceramic shell is broken away to release the parts.
Gate cutting, grinding and surface cleaning operations are applied.
Dimensional and metallurgical inspection confirms compliance with your specification.
